OH2 Medical Spa Achieves the First U.S. LEED(R) Certification for a Medical
Commercial Interior

ATLANTA, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Placing it in a category all its own, OH2
Vein Treatment and Medical Spa has earned the country's first LEED
certification for a medical commercial interior of its kind, making it one of
the nation's healthiest and most energy efficient medical spa and venous
treatment facilities.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the nation's leading evaluator of
environmentally sustainable buildings, announced that OH2 Medical Spa achieved
"LEED Certified" in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
Green Building Rating System.

"We are thrilled to have achieved certification with our first medical spa,
and meet the very rigorous specifications of the USGBC's building and
operational standards," says Dr. Randy Rudderman, co-founder of OH2.  "Our

Materials used in the construction of OH2 Medical Spa, from lumber to paint to
shelving, came from environmentally-friendly and renewable resources. 
Specific green features at OH2 include:

    --  Uses low VOC paints and finishes for pure indoor air quality
    --  All eligible appliances in the space, from computers to flatscreen
        televisions, carry the Energy Star label, meeting strict energy
        efficiency guidelines set by the EPA and US Department of Energy
    --  All water fixtures are low flow conservation models
    --  All wood products are natural and produced without urea and
formaldehyde
        components
    --  All paints, sealers, adhesives and stains used are LEED-approved for
        minimal VOC components
    --  All steel in wall structures use a minimum of 30% recycled material
    --  During construction, 100% of all dry wall and steel debris was
recycled
        to minimize landfill use
    --  Wood structures, mill work and cabinetry are made of LEED-approved
woods
        and particle board
    --  Light sensors monitor natural light optimizing energy conservation by
        reducing use of electric lighting
    --  All dry wall is made of 99% recycled material
    --  All ceiling tiles are made of 80% recycled material
    --  Air is filtered by superior Merv 13 air filters, matching cleanliness
        efficiency in many hospital operating rooms and industrial clean rooms
    --  All patient rooms are insulated for sound and climate control with
        materials that are a minimum of 35% recycled materials
    --  All exterior rooms are fitted with light sensors to allow for
efficient
        energy use
    --  Office layout maximizes use of natural light in 90% of patient areas
    --  All patient areas have air quality control, including carbon dioxide
        monitoring
    --  Daily electrical light use is 35% below industry standard
    --  Office recycles all paper and plastic waste, glass, and aluminum
    --  All patient rooms are constructed to eliminate air cross contamination

    --  50% of all energy usage is subsidized with wind and solar energy
