MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, May 15 (MARKET WIRE) --
SourceForge (NASDAQ: LNUX), the leader in community-driven media and
e-commerce, today announced the opening of nominations for the third annual
SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards. For the first time, all open source
projects -- not just those on SourceForge.net -- are eligible. The awards
recognize open source projects that have the most supportive community
following,
and those that the voters believe are built with the highest quality,
creativity and ingenuity. There is no panel of experts involved; the
Community Choice Awards are truly the "people's choice" awards for open source
software.

"We realize the success of open source is bigger than any one repository can
contain, even ours," says Ross Turk, SourceForge.net Community Manager. "Open
source has become a force to be reckoned with, and we want to recognize the
communities that have been responsible for changing that software landscape in
such a fundamentally cool way."
