Teen Sensation Selena Gomez to Appear in Capital One Bank Adolphus Children's
Parade Benefiting Children's Medical Center

DALLAS, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The multitalented Selena Gomez, recording
artist and star of Disney's hit show Wizards of Waverly Place, will visit her
hometown to make a guest appearance in the 21st annual Capital One Bank
Adolphus Children's Parade. The Parade, scheduled for Saturday, December 5,
takes place in downtown Dallas.

"It's always great to come home and visit family and friends, but coming home
to be a part of the Capital One Bank Adolphus Children's Parade makes my visit
extra special," Gomez said.

Selena, who grew up in the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie, Texas, has had a
whirlwind year between her Disney show, Disney Channel original movie and her
debut album, Kiss & Tell, released in September. Supporting the needs of
children is nothing new to Selena. Named the youngest UNICEF Ambassador, the
teen star has a passion for helping kids around the world, now including those
in her own backyard.

"We are thrilled to have Selena join us for the Parade and to become a member
of our Children's Medical Center fundraising family by virtue of this exciting
appearance," said Pete Kline, president of the Children's Medical Center
Foundation. "Selena is very special to all of us in Dallas, and her generosity
and caring spirit serve as an inspiration to our young patients."

The Capital One Bank Adolphus Children's Parade is an award-winning annual
holiday tradition for hundreds of thousands of families. In addition to
Selena, friends like Miss America, Strawberry Shortcake and Spider-Man will
thrill both the young and the young at heart. More than 10 giant inflatables,
high-stepping marching bands and dazzling decorated floats will make their way
down Dallas' city streets. Dozens of past patients from Children's Medical
Center will ride in the Parade as shining examples of the miracles that take
place at the hospital every day.

Ticket sales benefit Children's Medical Center, a not-for-profit pediatric
hospital in Dallas. Sidewalk seating along the downtown Dallas Parade route is
free. Event organizers expect crowds of more than 350,000 on Parade day, and
they encourage those without reserved bleacher seats to arrive early for
optimum viewing and curbside seats.

WFAA-TV, the Dallas ABC affiliate, will broadcast the Capital One Bank
Adolphus Children's Parade live, and more than 350 television stations in 159
markets will air the parade in syndication throughout the holiday season. This
year's parade is sponsored by Capital One Bank, one of the newest tenants in
downtown Dallas, and the historic Adolphus hotel, one of downtown Dallas'
landmark businesses.
