SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
BioGreen Bottles (www.biogreenbottles.com), the environmentally innovative
plastic water bottle that is completely biodegradable once its drinking days are
over, is now available nationally at mass retailers, in select markets across
the country, making it easier than ever to go green. Manufactured by CalSprings,
BioGreen Bottles were previously only available online, through Amazon.com
(www.amazon.com) and at selected cycling stores.

In addition to being biodegradable, BioGreen Bottles are reusable, recyclable,
top shelf dishwasher safe, and BPA, DEHA and DEHP free. Just in time for summer,
major retail chains now carry a variety of designs, colors and sizes from the
BioGreen Bottle line, located in the sporting goods section, near the bicycles
and biking accessories.

"It`s exciting that we are now able to nationally distribute the product in
these major retail chains in addition to our online Amazon sales," said Cal
Springs President Steve Finch. "We`ve had great success with the online
community and we`re glad to have the opportunity to expand to more of the
general public."

According to Finch, there is no need to feel guilty about drinking from a
BioGreen Bottle, since the bottles contain EcoPure, an additive created by
Albuquerque-based Bio-Tec Environmental. EcoPure enables the bottles to
completely break down in landfills and compost piles into biomass and biogas.
The biogas can then be harvested for energy use, and the biomass nourishes the
soil.

"It can be difficult never to throw anything out, even for the greenest people,"
Finch said. "Our hope is that these bottles can be a practical and affordable
step to a greener lifestyle."
