Full QWERTY and ABC Keyboards Provide Options
BOSTON--(Business Wire)--
The recent Strategy Analytics Wireless Device Lab benchmark report, "Mobile
Device User Evaluation: Nokia E75," evaluates the usability of messaging,
contact management, sound settings, calendar and other core features.

The Nokia E75 performed well and had an overall high success rate for most
tasks, however the Strategy Analytics benchmark team observed some usability
issues related to capturing a picture, applying an image to a contact and
setting the phone to silent. The E75 also provides users with both a full QWERTY
keyboard and a 12-key ABC keypad, which participants found useful.

"Having two keyboard options means that participants can use the 12-key ABC
keyboard one-handed or for short messages," commented Christopher Dodge, Analyst
in the Strategy Analytics User Experience Practice. "They also have the option
of the full QWERTY keyboard for longer messages."

Paul Brown, a Senior Analyst in the Strategy Analytics User Experience Practice,
added, "One aspect of the Nokia E75 that frustrated participants was that it
would lock the phone every time the QWERTY keyboard was closed."
