CAPE CORAL, Fla., July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Unlimited Priorities Corporation, a
company specializing in support for organizations within the information
industry, has announced the sale of AgeLine, an online bibliographic database
produced by AARP and focused on the subject of aging and middle-aged and older
adults, to EBSCO Publishing.

Unlimited Priorities initiated the transaction, helped manage the process,
assisted in the negotiations and acted as the exclusive strategic and
financial advisor to AARP.

Jody Holtzman, AARP Senior Vice President Knowledge Management, reviewed the
sale: "AgeLine is the largest database on aging, and is widely used both
domestically and internationally. When AARP decided to sell AgeLine, it was
essential to find a home that would continue to provide access to the
geriatric community, and who would make the investment necessary to take it to
the next level. We selected Unlimited Priorities to help us accomplish this
based on their decades of experience in the information publishing space
allowing them to identify potential buyers and solicit bids in a fast and
seamless manner. After conducting several discussions, Unlimited Priorities
presented us with a short list from which we finally selected EBSCO
Publishing. Our discussions with EBSCO disclosed that they would invest
further in the database and make use of the company's larger infrastructure to
support it. Confirmation of these positive attributes led to the final
decision."

Unlimited Priorities president Iris L. Hanney responded, "The larger business
brokers aren't as interested in working with small and medium-size companies,
but this has always been our area of specialization. We prefer working with
the smaller transactions as they tend to be more entrepreneurial and flexible
in the art of negotiating. As the percentage of people over 60 continues to
grow so does their need for meaningful and pertinent information relating to
their changing lives. EBSCO's acquisition of AgeLine means that this
important resource will be available in libraries serving every segment of
this expanding group. We are very proud to have played a key role in finding
AgeLine a new home."
