Bear Mountain Inn Begins Third Thursdays in the Park

BEAR MOUNTAIN, N.Y., July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Bear Mountain Inn will host the
music series titled Third Thursdays in the Park, beginning July 16, from 6 pm
to 9 pm, featuring a variety of bands playing everything from 80's classics to
heart pounding rock and roll.

Triple Play (www.myspace.com/thetripleplayband) will heat up the stage on July
16th, with their unique blend of rock, blues and country. The Mighty SPECTRUM
Band featuring The Mad Dog Horns is sure to provide guests with a night to
remember on August 20th with their 9 piece, brass kickin', heart pounding,
rock 'n' soul show. The concerts will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm on the lawn at
Bear Mountain State Park and free parking will be available during that time
period. Food, beer and wine will be sold during the concerts and outside food
and beverage is not permitted. Schedule is subject to change.

Bear Mountain Inn State Park, managed by Guest Services, Inc., offers a
24-room lodge, four stone cottages with six bedrooms, and over 5,000 square
feet of meeting, conference and event space at the Overlook Lodge, Cliff House
and Merry-Go-Round Pavilion. Activities for all ages and interests abound
onsite with boat rentals, playing fields, picnic groves, swimming pool, nature
trails, Trailside Museum and Zoo, Perkins Tower, and Merry-Go-Round. The park
also has many events planned for the summer including live bands, classic car

The historic Bear Mountain Inn is currently undergoing extensive renovation to
bring it back to its original splendor. At the completion of the renovations,
the Inn will offer 15 luxury suites, spa, full-service restaurant and lounge,
over 20,000 square feet of meeting and catering space, Hiker's Lounge, and
Hudson Valley Store. Renovations will also be completed in the 24 guest rooms
and catering space at the A.K. Morgan Overlook Lodge, the four six-room Stone
Lodges, and Cliff House.
