Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards Announce Andy D. Bryant, Intel as 2008 Lifetime Achievement Winner

SAN FRANCISCO--(Business Wire)--
The Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards announced today Andy D.
Bryant, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of
Intel Corporation, former Chief Financial Officer, as winner of the
2008 Lifetime Achievement Award. Under his stewardship as CFO from
1994 to 2007, Bryant built a finance organization regarded as one of
the strongest in the industry, known for delivering value to
stockholders while conducting business with high integrity and strong
financial controls. Bryant has been a tireless advocate for
stockholders, who credit him for managing Intel's cost structure in a
cyclical business and commend his willingness to make sure investors
comprehend Intel's financial performance. His role as CFO has expanded
well beyond finance to incorporate human resources, information
technology, and other activities worldwide.

Bryant and finalists and winners in six other award categories
will be honored at the Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards on May 29, 2008
at the Palace Hotel, San Francisco. Now in its third year, the event
is attended by over 500 high profile executives from top tier
financial institutions and accompanying consulting, legal and other
service firms. This Bay Area Awards event raises over $400,000 in
support of Larkin Street Youth Services, the leading nonprofit
providing housing, education, job assistance, medical and social
services to homeless and high risk youth in San Francisco.

Nominations are being solicited by the CFO of the Year Awards
Nominating Committee until March 7, 2008 for Bay Area Chief Financial
Officers who have been in their roles for at least 2 years and who
have made outstanding contributions both to their company as well as
to the greater Bay Area business community. A Selection Panel of
experienced finance professionals and academic leaders including Tom
Campbell, Dean, Haas School of Business, U.C. Berkeley; John Gunn,
Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer, Dodge and Cox;
Jeffrey O. Henley, Chairman, Oracle; Mary Huss, Publisher, San

will be choosing winners amongst finalists in the following additional
