today distributed the final proceeds payable as a result of the liquidation of
MacroShares $100 Oil Up (ticker:UOY) and Down (ticker:DOY) trusts.

MacroShares $100 Oil's last day of trading on NYSE Arca was June 25, 2009, and
all proceeds were paid out today, July 6, 2009 to shareholders of record as of
June 30, 2009.

The MacroShares $100 Oil Down shareholders received $7.50630 per share. The
MacroShares $100 Oil Up shareholders received $4.06238 per share.
