Northrop Grumman and PBS KIDS GO! Series Cyberchase Present Cyberchase Weather
Watchers Event At the California Science Center April 25

LOS ANGELES, April 17, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Featuring appearances by
characters from the popular PBS KIDS GO! animated series Cyberchase, Northrop
Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) presents a Cyberchase Weather Watchers event
Saturday, April 25 at the California Science Center. The event will engage
students in math and science and show them how much fun they can have by
observing the weather and its impact on the environment.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., families will have the opportunity to meet Cyberchase
characters Bianca and Digit for half-hour increments at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.,
12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Attendees will also be able to view screenings of new
weather-related Cyberchase episodes at 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

Children will also be able to participate in such hands-on activities as "The
X-Factor," which demonstrates the multiplier effect of water conservation. The
event will also include ongoing activities where visitors will learn how to
"Step Into Cyberspace" and "Build A Better Bunny Copter."

The event is part of Northrop Grumman's support for programs that inspire and
prepare the next generation of scientists, engineers and technicians for careers
in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Cyberchase's Weather
Watchers initiative, featuring new episodes, a challenging new online game, and
outreach events and activities, explores real-world math connections in a
context that encourages kids to take action and seek answers about the weather
and its impact on the environment.

Tickets to meet the Cyberchase characters and to episode screenings are free and
will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Admission to the California Science Center is free. The California Science
Center is located in Exposition Park just west of the Harbor (110) Freeway at
