Third Annual Small Business Summit 2008: Reinventing Your Business
Entrepreneurs, Industry Experts and Corporate Sponsors Convene to Discuss
Expanding Business through Technology
NEW YORK, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Third Annual Small Business Summit
2008 will be held on February 11th, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square, and
will focus on the theme "It's Time to Reinvent Your Business." Small business
owners, entrepreneurs and small business-focused vendors across a number of
industries will hear industry experts discuss topics central to using
technology and improving core businesses processes, including "Marketing in a
Digital World: How Technology and New Media are Changing the Game" and
"Bounce! The Path to True Business Confidence."
The Small Business Summit was created by Marian Banker, MBA, Business
Leadership Coach and President of Prime Strategies, and Ramon Ray, Technology
Evangelist & Editor of Smallbiztechnology.com, to highlight both technology
and core business processes (i.e., marketing, sales, HR, etc.). This event
leverages the strength of small business owners as it is created for small
business owners by a team of small business owners.
"The 2008 Small Business Summit is perfect for those who want to stay
current on business and technology options for reinventing their business,"
said Marian Banker. "Since Ramon and I created this event three years ago, it
has always been our intention to showcase the importance of technology and
business processes working together for business growth."
Event sponsors such as Dell, entellium, Google, Network Solutions,
BackUpMyInfo, Catalyst Web, Gotvmail, FileMaker, Intuit, M5Networks,
Microsoft, Net@Work, SitePal, Verizon, Verizon Wireless, US Postal Service,
Wasp and Xerox are set to demonstrate how their products are specifically
geared for a small business. For example, Microsoft's OneCare and Vista,
Dell's Vostro, and Verizon's FIOS will be exhibited so small business owners
can learn how they can take advantage of these technologies. "With small
businesses representing 99.7% of all employer firms, our sponsors understand
the importance of this audience", added Ramon Ray. "The Summit is one of the
only places I know where these major companies will be in the same place at
the same time, accessible to entrepreneurs and vendors."
Speakers will include Karen Quintos, VP of Marketing for Small and Medium
Business for Dell, Barry Moltz, entrepreneur, angel investor and author,
Laurel Touby of mediabistro.com, Anita Campbell, America's Small Business
Guru, among others. Early Bird registrants will pay $99 until 2/1 and can
register at www.smallbiztechsummit.com.
