David Gergen, editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report and a senior
political analyst for CNN, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Capella
University (www.capella.edu) PhD colloquium in Phoenix on Monday, July 13, at 5
p.m. at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. In honor of the establishment of
Capella's new School of Public Service Leadership, David Gergen will discuss the
critical importance of public service in today's world. He served as an advisor
to presidents for 30 years and has been an active participant in American
national life. He is currently a professor of public service at Harvard's John
F. Kennedy School of Government and director of its Center for Public
Leadership.
