CommuniCase Technology is based on a common modular architecture, enabling
users to easily switch out and plug in standard modems, amplifiers and other
transmission and auxiliary components to create more than 450 different
configurations. This interchangeability provides users with a cost-effective
and very high degree of operational flexibility. The innovative CCT
architecture relies on a uniquely packaged transceiver that carries CPI's
solid-state microwave power amplifier. This high-power amplifier incorporates
several novel design features that allow it to meet the exacting and high
performance requirements of CommuniCase Technology within a highly customized
envelope.

The IPT Suitcase is the smallest broadband satellite terminal in the world and
is used for the transmission of video, data and voice content via satellite
from remote or temporary sites anywhere in the world.

Work on the contract will be completed at CPI's Communications & Medical
Products Division in Georgetown, Ontario.
