KINGSLAND, GA, Jul 06 (MARKET WIRE) --
Rayonier is preparing to sell approximately 1,091 acres of commercial and
development land near Kingsland in an auction on Thursday, July 30, with
Woltz and Schrader Auctions managing the sale.

The land -- much of which is located along Kings Bay Road, Colerain Road
and Spur 40 in Kingsland and St. Marys -- will be sold in 36 tracts,
ranging from approximately three acres to more than 112 acres.

"By having relatively small tracts, we're able to offer a broader range of
buyers an opportunity to purchase some of this land, much of which has
been owned and managed by Rayonier since 1938. All of the land is only a
half hour north of the Jacksonville, Fla., Airport and minutes from the
famous Amelia Island. It includes tracts near Kings Bay Naval Submarine
Support Base, and directly across from the Sugarmill Plantation
development," said Jim Woltz, president of Woltz & Associates, Inc.,
which is managing the auction in a joint project with Schrader Real
Estate and Auction Company.

Public water and sewer service are available at or near all of the tracts,
according to Rayonier spokesperson Kathy Terwilliger. Most of the
property being offered is zoned for commercial or medium-high residential
use.

"With its proximity to the metro Jacksonville, and the Kings Bay Naval
Base, we expect to see considerable interest from investors, developers
and businesses who are seeking land for commercial or residential use
immediately," said Terwilliger.

The sale will be conducted at the Western Motel & Manor, 1215 East King
Ave., Kingsland, Georgia, just off of exit 3 on I-95. Auction personnel
will be available there to answer questions on July 8, July 22, and July
29. There will be substantial information for prospective bidders to
review such as plats, aerial photos, available utilities, surveys, title
commitments and other due diligence material. Individuals interested in
additional information about the auction may call 800-551-3588 or visit
Woltz's web site at www.woltz.com.
