Jourdan Resources 2009 Annual General and Special Meeting

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Jul 10 (MARKET WIRE) --
Jourdan Resources inc. (TSX VENTURE: JRN) (the "Corporation" or
"Jourdan") is pleased to inform its shareholders the result of its annual
and special meeting of shareholders held on June 18, 2009 in Montreal,
Quebec.

At the meeting, shareholders elected Emilien Seguin, Marc Labrecque, Guy
Girard, Stuart Lee and Andre Audet as members of the Board of Directors
of the Corporation.

The shareholders also re-appointed Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton,
Chartered Accountants, as auditors of the Corporation for the current
financial year. The resolutions modifying Jourdan's Article and By-Laws
were not approved by 66% of the shareholders's votes and were rejected.

Jourdan Resources inc., also announces that following the shareholders'
meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Emilien Seguin as President and
Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, Guy Girard as Chief Financial
Officer and Marc Labrecque as Secretary.
