CINCINNATI--(Business Wire)--
Speculative investors are beginning to display an optimistic bias toward
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT). During the past five days, traders on the
International Securities Exchange (ISE) have bought to open 17,054 calls on
MSFT, compared to 5,062 puts. In other words, option players have purchased 3.37
times more bullish bets than bearish during the past week.

Taking a slightly longer-term look, MSFT currently sports a 10-day ISE call/put
volume ratio of 2.16, as calls bought to open have more than doubled puts during
the past two weeks. This ratio ranks higher than 56.1% of other such readings
taken during the past year, suggesting that the stock's call options have been
more popular than usual of late.
