New Haven City Card and Parcxmart Technologies Approach One Million in Total

HAMPTON FALLS, N.H., May 9, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- New Haven's
multi-application Parcxmart Card(tm), designed as a city card to streamline
operating expenses and increase revenues for on-street parking operations and
merchants citywide, announces record usage in New Haven.

Michael Piscitelli, Director of New Haven's Department of Transportation,
Traffic and Parking stated, "Since we launched the New Haven Card in 2006, the
program has reached more than $905,000 in total transaction volume among local
merchants, city departments, and at the City's on-street and off-street parking
locations." Looking to the near future he added, "Given the continued growth of
the program, we expect to reach the $1 million mark in June this year, and we
are also excited about the launch of the new look City Card mid-summer, which
will allow up to $500 to be loaded to cards, and offers an Instant Cool Rewards
loyalty application along with additional participation from both local and
regional merchants. Repositioning the existing card as a viable City Card with
enough spending power and utility to meet our commuting public's needs is a
logical step in what has become a valued addition to every downtown New Haven
commuter and visitors' pocket book and wallet."
