Plug In the Power(TM) of Education With PNY's "My Big Green Idea" Scholarship Contest

PARSIPPANY, NJ, Nov 05 (MARKET WIRE) --

well as consumer and professional graphics cards, has announced the "My
Big Green Idea" college scholarship contest.

PNY's college scholarship contest is challenging high school seniors in
both public and private high schools to conceive an eco-friendly solution,
product, or idea that will help to save the environment using PNY
technology. Students must submit a typed, 1000 word or less, essay
describing their project, along with optional pictures and/or video to
support their idea. Submissions will be accepted from now until March 15,
2010.

One Grand Prize Winner will be selected to receive a college scholarship
of $5,000, as well as $1,000 to execute their idea. The winner's high
school will receive three brand new computers and monitors. PNY will also
select two honorable mention entrants to receive a PNY prize package
valued at $500.00.

earlier this year, PNY has taken a more proactive role in our green

Entrants are encouraged to submit their idea online at
www.pny.com/education. Details for entering by mail are also available on
the entry web page. The winner will be selected on or about April 20,
2010, and eligibility is limited to current high school seniors who reside
in the United States.
