HOUSTON--(Business Wire)--
While giving to charity is not unheard of for corporations, a
company that starts out with a commitment to give 50% of its profits
crosses the line from charitable to sacrificial.

Motivated by his Christian beliefs and armed with a penchant for
business, Simon Lee started EIS Office Solutions, Inc., in August 2004
with the commitment to donate 50% of its profits to make a difference
in the lives of people. At $6 million a year and growing (the goal is
to be a $20 million company in the next 3.5 years), EIS is positioned
not only to give significantly, but also to lead other companies to
join it in fighting against the cycle of poverty.

Lee's vision stems from a desire in his formative years to make a
difference, and has since developed from travels to various
third-world countries throughout his career. His personal involvement
in helping organizations to raise indigenous leaders and to provide
food and education to those in need has informed and moved him to
focus his vision.

The recently established Simon and Faye Lee Foundation focuses on
leadership development, elimination of the poverty cycle, and
educational opportunity. Currently EIS helps people in Sudan through
partner organization Aid Sudan and students in Houston, Texas, through
their relationship with the Houston Independent School District.

When the company started profiting in just its third year of
operations, Lee searched for an organization with which he could
partner to provide social assistance and education to those in need.
This led to a meeting with Peter Swann, the executive director of Aid
Sudan since 2004.

EIS quickly formed a partnership with Aid Sudan in late 2007, and
through Swann's leadership, has joined in their work of providing
water, schools, hospitals and churches to the local Sudanese people
through developing local leaders in Sudan.

Believing that education is one of the keys to setting people free
from poverty, EIS Office Solutions also provides local scholarships to
students in the Houston Independent School District.

The EIS vision extends beyond the short term. With the
establishment of the Simon and Faye Lee Foundation, the Lees have a
long-term goal to grow for lifelong giving beyond the operation of the
business. The foundation will continue to carry out the vision past
the life of EIS.

The Lees hope to influence other companies to go from charitable
to sacrificial as well. Once they are more established, they will be
actively asking other companies to be more generous with their
corporate profit. Inspired companies may choose to join them right now
by donating to the Simon and Faye Lee Foundation.

"We want to continue to grow and make an impact in Sudan and here
in Houston," said Lee. "We want other companies to join us because it
is very powerful when a company exists for others and not just for
itself."
