SOAInstitute.org Announces the Addition of a 2nd Track for their 2008 SOA
Conference Series
Expanded Focus to Include Additional Technology
WESTBOROUGH, Mass., March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- SOAInstitute.org, the Peer to
Peer Exchange for Service-Oriented Architecture Professionals, today announced
that it has added a second track to its SOA Conference Series. Developed in
response to demand from SOAInstitute.org members and industry movement, the
new sessions will provide additional technology coverage.
The SOA Conference Series, now in its 3rd year, examines:
-- The value proposition for SOA
-- How to identify challenges and opportunities
-- How to develop metrics and key performance indicators for SOA
-- How to create a roadmap for expansion of SOA throughout the
enterprise
It provides senior executives, professionals and architects with key
insights into designing, developing, managing and governing a service-oriented
architecture in their organization.
According to Tom Dwyer, Vice President of Research and Development
BrainStorm Group & Editorial Board Member SOAInstitute.org "Many practitioners
focus on the tactical business perspective of Service Oriented-Architecture,
yet the strategic technology side of SOA implementation can be overlooked. In
our new track, we look at how to integrate business and technology components
throughout the organization to create optimal results. The combination two-
pronged focus of business and technology equip our attendees with a complete
understanding of SOA solutions from evaluation to implementation and
deployment."
Mr. Dwyer adds. "Our members (senior IT executives, professionals and
architects) are looking to us to add value and enhance their knowledge of how
SOA works in the real world. They want SOAInstitute.org to help them navigate
and understand the SOA landscape. Our expanded technology track has been
created to help practitioners increase the effectiveness and efficiency of SOA
for their organizations."
SOAInstitute.org will launch this new expanded program in Chicago,
April 15-16 at the Hilton Chicago. The additional technology track will be
featured on Wednesday, April 16 and cover topics such as Service-Oriented
Analysis, Patterns for Implementing SOA Solutions, and Information Models for
SOA.
Additional 2008 dates and locations include June 25-26 in DC;
September 30 - October 1 in San Francisco; and November 5-6 in New York City.
SOAInstitute.org's Training and Certification Programs, designed By
Practitioners for Practitioners, will also be held over each of these dates.
