South River Technologies Launches WebDrive 8.0

of WebDrive 8.0, a Universal Access Client that enables users to
securely access, manage and collaborate on business documents.
WebDrive users can access files stored on remote servers including
online storage and backup services, online collaboration services,
corporate web servers and file management servers - all through one
simple, intuitive interface.

WebDrive 8.0 includes support for Amazon S3 (Simple Storage
Service). Amazon S3, provided by Amazon Web Services, is an innovative
pay-as-you-go Web storage service that allows users to store and
access data on Amazon S3 servers. Launched earlier last year, the
service is particularly valuable to growing startups on a tight budget
as it enables companies of all sizes to utilize the inexpensive,
scalable infrastructure to build their businesses.

Always on the forefront of the latest technology trends, SRT has
upgraded WebDrive 8.0 to support Amazon S3. WebDrive also supports
several industry-standard protocols that enable secure file transfer
including WebDAV, SFTP, SSL and FTP, making it a universal access
client to a wide variety of remote storage servers.

WebDrive 8.0 also includes support for Windows Single Sign on,
which increases productivity of end users' on the corporate network by
relying on the credentials of the logged on Windows user to connect to
the server. This also simplifies administration and support for a
company's systems administrator.
