Farmers Insurance uses AgencyConnect(TM) to deploy an agency interface strategy

LOS ANGELES & BOSTON--(Business Wire)--AgencyPort, Inc., a leading provider of agency portal and agency

provided Farmers Insurance with software to simplify ongoing
maintenance of their agency interface system.

Farmers licensed AgencyConnect software to transform and maintain
a single incoming data structure that is mapped to the company's
eAgent web system. For this interface initiative, Farmers used
AgencyConnect to help implement IVANS Transformation Station and
TransactNOW for real-time bridging of data from AMS and Applied agency
management system to Farmers business applications.

With AgencyConnect, Farmers is able to utilize a single point of
connectivity for interface transactions or source agency systems. "In
addition to speeding the interface transactions to market,
AgencyConnect provides Farmers with a single integration source for
the development and maintenance of multiple data points with the

Acting as an ACORD data transformation service, the AgencyConnect
Server enables carriers to transform and normalize disparate agency
source data records into one consistent ACORD XML document in real
time. The product provides a development infrastructure to allow
business analysts to map ACORD XML to a carrier's specific internal
data structure and a run-time engine to process all transformations
and import the data into carrier downstream (web) systems.

AgencyConnect can be purchased as a stand-alone product to extend
a carrier's existing agency web offering or bundled with AgencyPortal
to provide a complete, turnkey agency portal.
