As one of the largest Spain-based companies doing business in the US, and a
major producer of healthcare products worldwide, Grifols hosted Minister
Miguel Sebastian while he is on official business for the Kingdom of Spain.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Grifols S.A. (Grifols), a global

Industry, Tourism and Trade, Miguel Sebastian, at its US corporate offices and

Spain-based businesses throughout the US that is designed to increase
institutional and business cooperation between Spain and the United States in
priority business sectors and to promote the presence of Spanish companies in
US markets.

"It is an honor to host Minister Sebastian at our facilities," said Gregory
Rich, President of Grifols' US operations. "Our extensive capital investments
in the US over the past few years reflect how important the US is to the
global success of the company." A number of senior Grifols executives from
the US and Spain were on-hand to welcome Minister Sebastian including Victor

of life-saving plasma therapies. In 2003 Grifols acquired its Los Angeles
based production facilities and corporate offices. Between 2003 to 2007

to 2012. Earlier this month Grifols began construction on phase one of a
three phase 50 million euro expansion plan in San Marcos, Texas that includes
a national testing laboratory, warehousing and production facilities.
