City of Chicago Proclaims 'Honorary Jay Goltz Way' Honoring Business, Civic
Leader Jay Goltz at Clybourn and Kenmore

CHICAGO, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Goltz Group announces that the City of
Chicago has honored local business entrepreneur Jay Goltz, by proclaiming the
stretch of Clybourn Avenue by Kenmore Street, "Honorary Jay Goltz Way." Thirty
years ago Jay Goltz was the first retail pioneer on "the Clybourn Corridor,"
when the area was better known for drag racing and abandoned buildings.

It was 1978 when Mr. Goltz opened Artists Frame Service, a Chicago icon that
has become the largest picture frame store in the country. Following on that
success Mr. Goltz opened the nationally-acclaimed home furnishings store
Jayson Home & Garden, and a full service art gallery and art consultancy,
Chicago Art Source.

"Mr. Goltz has demonstrated exemplary corporate and civic leadership and a
commitment to improving the neighborhood," said Alderman Scott Waguespack of
the 32nd Ward of the City of Chicago, proclaiming the stretch of Clybourn at
Kenmore, "Honorary Jay Goltz Way."

Mr. Goltz, who continues to develop his businesses at his Clybourn location,
says, "In an environment where small businesses are more challenged than ever,
I'm honored to have a city block named after me. It is especially gratifying
since my retail career began at the age of five just a few blocks from here at
my grandparents' and parents' dime store on Armitage."

Alderman Waguespack announced the proclamation and unveiled the new street
sign on Friday evening to the loud cheers of Jay Goltz' 100+ employees who
were attending a Goltz Group holiday party at Artists Frame Service.
