The Number of Total Wireless Subscribers in Canada Forecasted to Increase from 20.4 Million in 2007 to 25.4 Million in 2010

DUBLIN, Ireland--(Business Wire)--
Research and Markets
(http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c83226) has announced the
addition of IE Market Research Corp's new report: 1Q08 Mobile
Forecast: Canada, 2007 - 2010 to their offering.

IEMR's Mobile Forecast on Canada provides over 65 operational and
financial metrics for the Canada wireless market. We cover quarterly
historical data starting in 3Q2003 and ending in 3Q2007. We also
provide four-year forecasts at the operator level going out to 2010.
Operators covered for Canada include: Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless
(incl. Microcell), Telus Mobility, MTS, and Other Bell Affiliates. Our
Mobile Forecasts are updated quarterly and are available for one-time
delivery or through regular updates.

Notable highlights of the 1Q08 Canada Mobile Forecast include:

-- Given weaker than expected Q3.07 and Q4.07 subscriber numbers,
we are now forecasting the wireless penetration level in
Canada to be 77.0% in 2010 (compared to our previous forecast
of 77.6%). The number of total subscribers in Canada is
forecasted to increase from 20.4 million in 2007 to 25.4
        million in 2010.

-- Given the geographic nature of competition in the Canadian
wireless space, we continue to forecast that market shares (by
subscribers) of major operators will remain roughly the same
over the next several years in Canada. Bell Mobility, Rogers
Wireless, Telus Mobility, and MTS will continue to have
        approximately 31%, 37%, 28% and 2% of the market.

-- Monthly churn rates will continue to be similar across
different operators and they will stay in the range of 1.5% -
        1.8%.

-- Bell Mobility will continue to receive the lowest ARPU in the
country at about US$ 53.70 per month in 2010. In contrast, the
remaining operators will all be receiving ARPU of US$ 58 - US$
        61 in 2010.

-- Rogers Wireless will have the highest MOU per subscriber at
716 minutes per month in 2010. MOU of Bell Mobility and Bell
affiliates will be much lower at about 320 minutes per
        subscriber per month.
