E1 Music Names Alan Grunblatt President
NEW YORK, NY, Jul 13 (MARKET WIRE) --
E1 Music today announced that Alan Grunblatt, long-time General Manager
and Executive Vice President of E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records), has
been promoted to President, Rock and Urban. Grunblatt replaces Bob Frank,
who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.
"We thank Bob for his many contributions over ten years of dedicated
service," said E1 Music Chief Executive Officer Michael Koch.
"We also congratulate Alan on his new role. He has been a loyal executive
and a true rainmaker for us for ten years, and I am very pleased to
announce his promotion to President," added Koch.
Grunblatt will report directly to Koch. His responsibilities have also
been expanded to include oversight of the rock genre for E1 Music. As
such, Scott Givens, VP of Metal, will now report to Grunblatt.
E1 also announced today the promotion of Michael Healy to Executive VP and
General Manager of E1 Music. He was formerly EVP for Finance and
Operations.
"Michael Healy has demonstrated an extraordinary capacity for running
things smoothly in the face of the stormiest conditions, and we are
pleased to have his steady hand helping to guide the E1 Music ship," said
Koch.
Chuck Mitchell, VP of Jazz and Adult Music, will now oversee Susan
DelGiorno, GM of E1 Classics, and Hugh Fordin, President of DRG Records.
Chuck Mitchell will report to Koch as well.
