MCC`s Innovative Partnership Continues to Deliver on America`s Promise to Africa
WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--
As the world community turns considerable attention to the issue of foreign aid
programs in Ghana, the U.S. Government`s Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)
has compiled the following resources about its ongoing, innovative program in
Ghana -- totaling $547 million. MCC partners with countries committed to good
governance, fighting corruption, and investing in their people.

In Ghana, we are witnessing the future of development assistance through the
transparent, country-led, results-driven work of MCC, which is already training
farmers to strengthen food security,providing credit to farmers to grow their
businesses, rehabilitating roads to help farmers access markets, and building
schools to educate the next generation. 

MCC and Africa: A Growing Partnership for Success

Ghana is one of 10 African countries benefitting from U.S. Government-funded MCC
investments, totally $4.5 billion throughout the continent. MCC supports African
solutions to African development challenges, through country-determined and
country-implemented anti-poverty solutions.
