SYLMAR, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Tutor-Saliba Corporation today announced that it has been awarded
contracts for three major construction projects worth a combined $291
million. The projects include replacing a maintenance pier at Naval
Air Base Kitsap in Bremerton, WA ($122 million); construction of a new
Student Campus Center at The University of Southern California ($102
million) in Los Angeles and the Pier A West project in Long Beach, CA
($67 million).

   "These three contracts are a clear sign that Tutor-Saliba
continues to be one of the premiere general contractors in the
nation," said Ronald N. Tutor, President of Tutor-Saliba. "We look
forward to completing these projects efficiently, safely and
on-schedule."

   On April 2, 2008, Tutor-Saliba announced that it has entered into
a definitive agreement to combine with publicly-traded Perini Corp. to
create the premier publicly-traded general contractor in the United
States and overseas.

   CVN Maintenance Pier Replacement at Naval Air Base Kitsap

   This is a $122 million design/build project at Naval Base Kitsap
in Bremerton, WA to demolish Pier Bravo and construct a new ship
repair wharf (85' x1325'), including the replacement of approximately
600 lineal feet of quay wall, strengthening 1,000 lineal feet of sheet
pile wall west of the Dry Dock 6 mole, and the demolition of Pier 8.

   The new aircraft carrier maintenance pier will be an improvement
not only for work on modern nuclear-powered carriers such as USS John
C. Stennis and USS Abraham Lincoln, but would put infrastructure in
place for the next generation of aircraft carriers. The existing pier
is 60 years old and too narrow to accommodate a crane and other
equipment necessary for work on Nimitz-class carriers.

   Bremerton's shipyard performs maintenance and repairs on both
aircraft carriers based in the Puget Sound area.

   USC Student Campus Center

   The new $102 million, 151,000 square foot Student Campus Center
will house a number of university offices, including the new Admission
Center and the Epstein Family Alumni Center. There will also be
student offices and work space, collaborative project and group study
areas, multi-purpose areas for events and gatherings, meeting and
board rooms for student organizations, study lounges, wide-ranging
dining options, including cafes, a full-service restaurant, and a
convenience store for a quick snack, technology resources, and game
and entertainment areas.

   The Campus Center is being built on the current site of the
Commons and the Topping Student Center and area immediately north,
integrating with the existing Student Union facility and Bookstore and
providing a coherent design scheme for both structures.

   Pier A West

   The $67 million Pier A West / Area 2 Interim / Source Removal
Action project consists of construction of three access roads and
widening of existing Shore Road; construction of a new parking lot;
reuse of non-contaminated material; disposal of contaminated material
from 19 below grade sumps; disposal of contaminated groundwater;
installation and maintenance of two multiphase extraction and
treatment systems; import of replacement fill material; storm water
management systems; storm water detention basins and system;
utilities; temporary parking lot and marina facilities; fencing; and
hydroseeding.
