TELEHOUSE America Brings NYIIX Connectivity to Its TELEHOUSE Center Customers
STATEN ISLAND, NY, Jul 11 (MARKET WIRE) --
TELEHOUSE International Corporation of America, the leading provider of
dedicated data centers, colocation facilities, international Internet
exchanges, and managed IT services, recently announced plans to extend
NYIIX's reach to the Company's TIER3/4, SAS70 certified facility and
headquarters located at the Teleport, 7 Teleport Dr. in Staten Island by
Q4 2008.
By turning on a new exchange point in Staten Island, TELEHOUSE offers
Customers there, the ability to peer with other Customers physically
connected to NYIIX in New York City's three major carrier hotels at 25
Broadway, 60 Hudson St., and 111 Eighth Ave. Plans were also announced to
virtually extend NYIIX's reach to two additional carrier hotels at 32 Ave.
of Americas in Manhattan and 165 Halsey St. in Newark, NJ.
This extension adds to the value of NYIIX immediately by augmenting the
number of Customers interconnecting and exchanging IP traffic through it,
as well as offering a location just south of Manhattan with disaster
recovery suites, dedicated data center sites, and high-power density
colocation facilities for current Members to consider expanding to.

to both their NYIIX and LAIIX exchange points. With the addition of route
server access, TELEHOUSE Customers will experience highly advanced peering
