Solarflare Expands into Asia with Presence in Hong Kong and Taiwan

Leading 10 Gigabit Ethernet Company Provides Local Support for
          Original Design and Equipment Manufacturers in Asia
TAIPEI, Taiwan--(Business Wire)--
Solarflare Communications, the leading provider of
standards-compliant 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) silicon, today
announced that it has opened locations in Hong Kong and Taiwan to
provide local customer support for original design manufacturers
(ODMs) and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Asia.

   In Taiwan, senior field application engineer Leo Huang will be
responsible for customer design-in and technology support in the Asia
Pacific region. Prior to joining Solarflare, Huang worked for key
domestic and overseas network equipment vendors such as DLink and
Marvell. He has a bachelor's degree from National Chao Tung
University.

   Daniel Tse, director of sales Asia Pacific, is located in Hong
Kong and responsible for all Solarflare business in the Asia Pacific
region. Tse has worked in technology for more than 25 years and held
various management positions in the Asia Pacific region for a number
of multinational computer and network equipment companies. His
experience includes building Fore Systems' and Extreme Networks' Asia
business from the ground up. Tse has a bachelor's degree from the
University of Kansas and a master's and doctorate degree from Ohio
State University.
