AmerisourceBergen Announces Change in Date for Fiscal Third Quarter Earnings Release; Reaffirms FY 2009 EPS Guidance

VALLEY FORGE, Pa.--(Business Wire)--
AmerisourceBergen Corporation (NYSE:ABC) today announced that it now plans to
release its results for the Third Quarter of Fiscal Year 2009 on Thursday, July
30, 2009, prior to the opening of trading on the New York Stock Exchange, and to
hold a conference call to discuss the results at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight
Time on that date. The date was moved one week so that Michael D. DiCandilo,
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will be available for the
conference call. Mr. DiCandilo will shortly undergo minor surgery to repair a
herniated disk. 

The Company reaffirmed its fiscal year 2009 expectations for diluted earnings
per share from continuing operations in the range of $1.59 to $1.65 in fiscal
year 2009, a 10 percent to 15 percent increase over the $1.44 in the previous
fiscal year. These expectations reflect the Company`s two-for-one stock split
which occurred in June 2009.
