M.D.C. Holdings Announces 2009 Second Quarter Earnings Release Schedule and
Conference Call

DENVER, July 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: MDC)
will release its 2009 second quarter earnings before market open on Friday,
July 31, 2009 and will host a teleconference the same day at 12:30 pm ET.  The
live teleconference will be available by calling 866-816-5116 and entering
