Platinex Issues Shares for Services

  TORONTO, ONTARIO, Jul 10 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
Platinex Inc. (TSX VENTURE: PTX), a Canadian exploration company,
announced today that it has issued 98,039 common shares as payment for
services at a deemed value of $0.085 per share. The shares are subject to
a hold period expiring on November 7, 2009.

carefully selected Platinum Group Element targets in settings analogous
to the Merensky and UG2 reefs (Bushveld Complex, RSA) and the JM reef
