"This latest installment of Twiistup was the best yet. The community that
came out to mingle, chat and discover new local companies was some of SoCal's
brightest. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive with many requests
to participate in our summer event. A big thank you to everyone who attended,
blogged or recommended Twiistup," said Twiistup Founder, Mike Macadaan.
"Congratulations to the Rubicon Project for being picked as the best Showoff.
Their value proposition is so smart and cool that it might seem intimidating
but that feeling quickly turns to empowerment for website publishers when you
experience what they have created. Their service is a blend of smart
technology and beautiful yet functional design."
"There were a lot of very impressive companies at the Twiistup event, we
are absolutely honored and flattered that the audience chose us as their
Favorite Startup from such a deserving group," said Frank Addante, CEO &
Founder of the Rubicon Project. "The quality of companies and attendees at the
event was outstanding. Only in L.A. would you see such a strong melding of
top tech companies with entertainment icons such as Perez Hilton and Shira
Lazar. Twiistup did a superb job. It's great to see so much energy and
excitement surrounding the L.A. tech community."
The Twiistup team would like to thank the following generous sponsors that
helped make the event possible: AOL Developer Network, Userplane, Clearstone
