Highly-respected industry leader to serve as Vice President of Field
Operations, help lead sector through important transformational period
ATLANTA, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Webmedx, the fourth largest medical

documentation technology, proudly announces the appointment of Susan Lucci,
RHIT, CMT, AHDI-F, to the position of Vice President, Field Operations. With
twenty-five years of experience in health information management (HIM) and
medical transcription, Lucci assumes national leadership responsibility for
day-to-day customer operations alongside the delivery of new technology and
service capabilities to those customers. The announcement was made by Sean
Carroll, CEO, Webmedx.
In addition to her Webmedx responsibilities, Lucci continues to serve as the
Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity's (AHDI's) 2009 president
and acting board member through 2010. Other industry leadership roles include
representing the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) on
the Health Story Project's Executive Committee, an industry initiative that
develops HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) implementation guides for
common types of electronic healthcare documents, brings them through the HL7
ballot process, and promotes their adoption within the industry. Furthermore,
Lucci is a member of AHDI's educational and EHR committees, moderates AHIMA's
Community of Practice for medical transcription, and is a national speaker and
author.

Prior to joining Webmedx, Lucci held vice president and director positions
with other leading medical transcription companies and served as assistant HIM
director and clinical coder for two healthcare provider organizations. Lucci
holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Rockville University
and an associate degree in health information management and business from St.
Petersburg College. Lucci will manage and be supported by the company's entire
team of Client Advocacy Representatives in her new role.
