Farmers Insurance Provides Hot Meals, and Top Notch Claims Service to Victims of Tennessee Tornadoes

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(Business Wire)--
Farmers Insurance Group of Companies has additional claims
personnel, and its Mobile Catastrophe Claims Center Bus in Tennessee
to help those impacted by the recent tornadoes in Tennessee.

Customers with damage are asked to immediately call Farmers
24-hour claims hotline, 800-HelpPoint (1-800-435-7764).

As of Thursday, February 7, 2008, Farmers has received more than
170 claims in Tennessee.

The Farmers Mobile Catastrophe Claims Center Bus is in Jackson,
Tennessee, to further assist storm victims who need to file claims.

The Farmers Mobile Catastrophe Claims Center Bus is a rolling
customer support center equipped with top-of-the-line technology for
immediate claims handling and outfitted with comforts of home such as
a grill for on-the-spot meals. Farmers customers, and anyone in need
of help or a hot meal, can stop by the Mobile Catastrophe Claims Bus
anytime.

The Mobile Catastrophe Claims Bus is located in the parking lot of
the Outback Steakhouse, 194 Stone Brook Place in Jackson, Tennessee.

"The Farmers claims bus allows us to serve the most number of
people," said Betsy Nealon, State Executive Director of Farmers
Insurance in Tennessee. "We are equipped to be a community relief
center with this bus. We can serve meals by the hundred and allow
people, even people who are not Farmers customers, telephone and
computer access to reach relatives. These are luxuries no one takes
for granted during a crisis."

The Mobile Catastrophe Claims Center Bus is the second bus for
Farmers, and today the first claim was settled at this newly deployed
bus. Union University student Kristin Schaeffer lost all of her
possessions as a result of the tornado that destroyed much of Union
University. Schaeffer, a junior at the university, completed an
inventory of her missing and destroyed belongings and received a
claims check on-the-spot at Farmers Mobile Catastrophe Claims Center
Bus.

Farmers employees and agents have also set up a relief center in
Nashville at the Wal-Mart in Lafayette, Tennessee.
