Global Green Carbon Corporation Announces Long-Term Structured Financing
Agreement
Proceeds Allocated to Reforestation Efforts in Developing Countries
CHICAGO, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Green Carbon Corporation ("Global Green
Carbon", "GGCC" or the "Company") announced today that it has completed a
structured financing deal with Legends Capital. The proceeds of the funding
are allocated to developing reforestation projects. Global Green Carbon is a
world-wide developer of reforestation projects utilizing carbon credit
financing.
Global Green Carbon recently announced the acquisition of Andean Carbon
Corporation, which is the project developer of the Guayllbamba Watershed
reforestation project in Quito, Ecuador. The company is also involved in
reforestation efforts in Peru, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Columbia where
they seek to manage new reforestation projects utilizing carbon credit finance
mechanisms.
In announcing the Agreement, Christopher Werner, co-Founder and CEO of the
Company, commented, "Closing this structured financing agreement will allow us
to focus 100% of our energy on developing significant reforestation efforts
which will dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions removing millions of
tonnes of CO2 from our atmosphere."
