MEGA Life and Health Agent Keith Gleason Earns National Award
MEGA Agent receives "2007 Champion First Year Achiever" and Other
Awards at Annual Convention
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas--(Business Wire)--The MEGA Life and Health Insurance Company
(https://www.megainsurance.com) named Keith Gleason, of Camden, Maine,
the 2007 Champion First Year Achiever, at its annual convention for
insurance agents held at the Hilton Anatole in December in Dallas.
As a subsidiary of HealthMarkets, MEGA is a leading provider of
affordable health and life insurance to the self-employed, individuals
and small businesses.
In his first contest year as a MEGA agent, Gleason not only
finished as the 2007 Champion First Year Achiever, he also set a
company record for new agent sales in a year. Gleason surpassed the
prior national record, held for more than seven years, by almost 30
percent.
"Even more significant than his First Year Achiever award is the
fact that Keith, as a new agent for MEGA, exceeded the sales total of
the company's all-time producing agent," said Jack Heller, Executive
Vice President of UGA, the sales agency for MEGA. "The consistency of
his business, and the ethical manner in which he conducts himself, was
equally matched by the quality of his sales production," added Heller.
Gleason also took top recognition in association membership sales
as well as "Top Five" honors for sales in life insurance, dental
insurance, and income protection products. He logged over 50,000 miles
during the contest year and met with more than 550 Maine residents and
families. Gleason successfully helped 430 of these prospective
clients, and to date has more than 700 policies written. "Keith
encourages all of his clients to call him when in need of assistance,"
said Heller, explaining why he achieves great quality results and
numerous client referrals.
Because of his overall success, Gleason was a keynote speaker and
panel member at the convention's agent workshop. He presented to over
500 agents on the topic of creative marketing.
