FERNLEY, Nev.--(Business Wire)--GEICO would like to express its concern for all residents of
Fernley, Nev., and urges policyholders whose cars have been damaged in
the recent flood to report their claims as early as possible. To reach
GEICO's claims team at anytime, 24 hours a day, call 1-866-435-1968,
or report the claim on GEICO's Web site, www.geico.com.

   GEICO's Catastrophe Response Team (CAT) will be deployed to
Fernley and will remain until all claims are resolved. Nevada
Insurance Commissioner Alice Molasky-Arman has declared Fernley to be
an insurance disaster.

   "We have already prepared our CAT teams with the supplies they
need and will move them into the affected areas," said Martha Furnas,
assistant vice president and general manger of the Tucson office.
"GEICO values its customers' security and peace of mind, and we will
help get policyholders back on the road as soon as possible."

   She continued, "GEICO's goal is to inspect customers' damaged
vehicles within 48 hours from the report date of the claim and claims
will be processed immediately. We understand that when a catastrophe
strikes, one of the most important things we can do is to help make
the recovery process as quick and smooth as possible. We take that
responsibility very seriously and our thoughts are with all those
affected by the flood."
