Finvest Is Launching New Proprietary Compliance System
ZURICH, Switzerland--(Business Wire)-- Finvest Asset Management recently launched its new proprietary risk and compliance operations management system (RACOM), in a move which is set to prepare it to accommodate accelerated entry into the European and offshore markets. Finvest is an asset management firm that has successfully managed several funds for non-US investors since 2000. The total AUM which it manages offshore exceeds USD 450 million. Implementation of the RACOM system is targeted to increase the firm's ability to accelerate market adoption and represents one of the key initiatives designed to help Finvest meet its strategic goal of market expansion. Secured allocations from institutional investors are projected to take it past the USD 500 million mark within the next few months. The firm's upcoming entry into the structured products market will also broaden its investment portfolio and accelerate growth. Risk management and compliance systems are gaining a significant level of importance in the financial services sector in an effort to improve reporting needs for portfolio managers. Implementation of the new risk and compliance software is an attempt to further that objective. Other financial services have also recently accelerated efforts to improve risk and compliance such as Bloomberg and Citadel, in a forged partnership earlier this year. Finvest, currently manages two funds, Finvest Primer and Finvest Yankee. Finvest Primer, a relative value option strategy fund with a hedge, maintains a track record of outperforming its peers since 2001. Finvest Yankee is a multi strategy fund, offering institutional investors exposure to emerging managers and providing for attractive risk adjusted returns. Utilizing a proprietary risk reduction model, the fund implements a strategic hedge to offset volatility and increase returns. Launched in June 2007, the Finvest Yankee fund has sustained earlier successful performance and continues to achieve positive returns in a volatile market. The lower value of the dollar over the last year, is presenting attractive opportunities for European investors, and current exchange rates make an investment in dollar denominated funds rather compelling. In a market where smart money is aggressively seeking dynamic fund managers, Finvest is attracting a significant amount of European interest. The firm is pro-actively exploring and developing new strategies in order to retain its competitive edge. Finvest Asset Management Harry Rogers, +41442083164 Copyright Business Wire 2008
