TheKnot.com Announces Record-Breaking New Membership from January Through June 2008

TheKnot.com Remains the #1 Wedding Website in America
NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
The Knot Inc. (NASDAQ: KNOT) is pleased to announce that the
company's flagship brand, TheKnot.com, celebrated its highest number
of new registered members during the first half of 2008 than in any
first two quarters in the company's history.

   For the first half of 2008, there was an 11 percent membership
growth over the first half of 2007. In June alone, TheKnot.com closed
the month with a record-breaking 116,000. This is the highest number
of new members for June on record, 13 percent above the site's past
record of 103,000 in June of 2006.

   With more than 1.1 million new registered members annually, The
Knot is the number-one wedding brand with the greatest number of
members and online traffic.

   Today's announcement demonstrates the site's continued strength,
despite growing online competition, to capture the dominant share of
