Cascade Corporation Announces New Director and Quarterly Dividend

PORTLAND, Ore.--(Business Wire)--Cascade Corporation, (NYSE:CAE), announced the appointment of
Peter D. Nickerson to its Board of Directors. Mr. Nickerson is a
director of Growth-Link Overseas Company, an investment company based
in Hong Kong with interests in China, Vietnam and India.

   Separately, on November 26, 2007, our Board of Directors declared
a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share, payable on January 9, 2008 to
shareholders of record as of December 26, 2007.
