CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich.--(Business Wire)--
Omega Plastics announced today that it has obtained ISO 13485:2003 Certification
for the manufacture of tools, components, and assemblies for injection molded
medical applications. The company engaged the services of Intertek Testing for
assessment and registration.

"The push for strong quality management is intensifying in the medical device
industry and this certification is just one step of many that we have made over
the years in our commitment to the medical device industry and its changing
demands," says Chris Buch, Business Development Manager of Omega Plastics.

Omega Plastics has been producing medical components for over a decade and
excels at helping clients launch products faster and more effectively. Omega was
founded in 1984 and grew quickly because of its ability to produce quality
plastic components in extremely short lead-times. Leveraging that experience,
today Omega`s capabilities have expanded to include a variety of manufacturing
solutions. Omega uses advanced manufacturing techniques and a collaborative
approach in working with their global clients. "We truly want to be an expansion
of our client`s team. It definitely improves their results," says Buch.

"Our innovative and collaborative approach to product launch has always been a
great fit for medical device manufacturers. We are pleased that our quality
management system is now recognized by the medical industry; that is important
as we continue growing in the development and production of new products for our
medical device clients," said Jeff Kaczperski, President of Omega Plastics.
