Catch the New Spirit at Table Mountain Casino!

FRIANT, Calif., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Table Mountain Casino, voted the
2008 People's Choice Award Winner for Best Local Casino, continues to delight
guests with another exciting entertainment experience by presenting Grammy
Award winner Boz Scaggs, for a special one-night-only performance on Monday
August 11, 2008 at 8:00 p.m.
Scaggs, born in Texas and raised with an abiding respect for a wide
spectrum of American roots music, has combined rock, jazz, R & B and blues to
create his trademark Boz Scaggs sound. His extensive and distinctive career
began in the 1970s with the Steve Miller Band. For over thirty years, Scaggs
has continued to prove himself as one of music's most creative and original
artists.
"My first love was the sound of a guitar and my earliest influences were
things I heard in my household," emphasized Scaggs. "My songwriting and my
style became more complex as I listened, learned, borrowed and stole and put
my music together." Much to the delight of his enthusiastic fans, Scaggs'
dedication to his musical instincts has culminated in what have now become
all-time Boz favorites such as, Lido Shuffle, Look What You've Done to Me, Lo
Down, Harbor Lights and, of course, the passionate and overwhelming lyrics of
We're All Alone.
John Mayewski, President and CEO of Table Mountain Casino is pleased to
bring yet another top-performing headliner to the stage at Table Mountain. He
explained, "Our guests have come to expect only the best from our concerts and
that's what we are delivering ... the very best! We will continue with our
ongoing line-up of outstanding entertainers; providing unmatched performances
for our audiences to enjoy."
Scaggs' concert is the latest in a series of sold-out Table Mountain shows
that have recently included Heart, Ronnie Milsap, Liza Minelli, Huey Lewis and
the News and Blues Legend Bonnie Raitt.
As an added bonus for Boz Scaggs' concertgoers, the crowd will be treated
to an extra-special show-stopping event-ticketholders can win their share of
$4000 just for walking through the concert doors! As concertgoers enter the
show, they'll be given a beaded necklace with a number on the front. Winning
