SAN DIEGO, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CareFusion Corporation (NYSE:
CFN), a leading, global medical device company created on Sep. 1, 2009 through
the spinoff of Cardinal Health's clinical and medical products businesses,
today said it will release its first quarter results and host a conference
call on Thurs., Nov. 5, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. EST, earlier than the previously
announced earnings date.

The company is changing the date of its earnings announcement to coincide with
Cardinal Health's first quarter earnings release. CareFusion was part of
Cardinal Health for two months of the quarter, and Cardinal Health will
present CareFusion results as part of its first quarter discontinued
operations. By moving up the earnings release date, the company is seeking to
avoid any potential confusion as a result of Cardinal Health's partial
presentation of CareFusion results in its discontinued operations, which will
differ from the company's reported results.

The CareFusion earnings webcast and conference call will now take place on
Nov. 5, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. EST to discuss results for its first quarter of
fiscal 2010, ended on Sep. 30, 2009. To access the call and corresponding
slide presentation, visit www.carefusion.com on the Investor Relations section
under "Calendar of Events," or dial 800-510-9836 or 617-614-3670, passcode
54900921. Log on at least 15 minutes before the call begins to register and
download or install any necessary audio software.

A replay of the conference call will be available at 11 a.m. EST on Nov. 5,
2009 through 11:59 p.m. EST on Nov. 7, 2009 and can be accessed by dialing
888-286-8010 or 617-801-6888, passcode 54800850.

CareFusion previously planned to announce on Nov. 10, 2009 at 5 p.m. EST.
