The Monterey Peninsula once again became a fashion hub as Lexus and Vogue
returned with the Lexus Fashion Preview at the 58th Annual Pebble Beach
Concours d'Elegance. The next generation of young American design talent
showcased exquisite creations and cutting edge looks at the show on Friday,
August 15, 2008 during the premier invitation-only fashion event.
Hosted by Vogue's fashion news/features director, Sally Singer, the Lexus
Fashion Preview revealed the collections from the finalists of the
prestigious council of fashion designers of America/Vogue Fashion Fund, the
industry's intense search for talent who will emerge as the next great
American designers. The couture collections will share the spotlight with
Lexus' sleekest automobiles, including the LF-A Roadster concept vehicle, the
latest expression of preeminent design from the automaker, and the Pebble
Beach Collection, special edition vehicles that commemorate the brand's
partnership with the Pebble Beach Resorts.
In addition to the opportunity to get an up-close look at the CFDA/Vogue
Fashion
Fund finalists' collections, attendees will be treated to a public
viewing of the Lexus LF-A Roadster. This exciting concept car fuses dominant
