DaVita Establishes Hotline for Dialysis Patients in Lynwood, California in Response to Area Power Outage

Dialysis Patients Requiring Treatment Encouraged to Call
                            1-800-400-8331
EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
As a result of a local power outage, the DaVita clinic on East
Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Lynwood, CA will be unable to provide
dialysis services until power is restored. DaVita has established a
hotline to help kidney patients find open clinics and schedule
treatments. Patients requiring dialysis treatment are encouraged to
call (800) 400-8331 if they have not already been contacted directly
by DaVita representatives.

Kidney failure patients - who require dialysis treatments three
times per week - are at high risk during emergencies. These patients
depend on these life-sustaining treatments. The DaVita Hotline is a
resource to let patients and their families know whether clinics are
open for treatment. Live operators assist in making alternative
arrangements for treatment if necessary.

Medicaid Services (CMS), and the March 2007 Fistula First Vascular
Access Improvement Initiative. We serve over 100,000 patients in 43
states and the District of Columbia in over 1,300 outpatient
facilities.
