ATF Adds $10,000 to Reward in San Fernando Valley Arson Investigation

LOS ANGELES, May 4 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Special Agent in Charge John
A. Torres of the Los Angeles Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,
Firearms and Explosives (ATF) today announced the addition of $10,000 to the
reward fund for the recent arson incidents that occurred in the San Fernando
Valley.  The reward now totals $75,000 for information leading to the arrest
and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the arson fires.
    "ATF is dedicated to safeguarding the American public by enforcing federal
laws on arson," Torres said. "We are asking for the public's help to apprehend
and convict the people responsible for these heinous crimes."
    The Los Angeles City Fire Department, Los Angeles Police Department,
Federal Bureau of Investigation and ATF are investigating the fires.
    Authorities have not determined whether or not the fire incidents are
related and currently do not have any suspects.  Anyone with information
