HICKSVILLE, N.Y.--(Business Wire)--
Sleepy`s, family-owned east coast mattress company, today announces its
participation in the Tempur-Pedic Hugs Back campaign, featuring a limited
edition version of the company`s popular My Tempur-Pedic Teddy Bear in their
showrooms across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Sleepy`s has purchased over $100,000 worth of these bears for charity, and are
offering them as a special free gift with any Tempur-Pedic purchase throughout
the holiday season. Customers may also purchase the uniquely gift-able bear for
$59 at any of Sleepy`s 700+ showrooms. All net proceeds go to the Pancreatic
Cancer Action Network, the nation`s leading pancreatic cancer advocacy
organization, to help fund research for the deadly disease.

"Pancreatic cancer is one of the most under-funded diseases out there and the
lack of public awareness is truly alarming," explained Mike Bookbinder,
Executive Vice President. "We hope our involvement with the Tempur-Pedic Hugs
Back campaign and our donation of all proceeds from the sale of the bears in our
stores will help in the fight against this devastating disease."

Pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all cancers, with a 5-year
survival rate of just 5 percent. In 2009, more than 42,000 Americans will be
diagnosed with the disease. Actor Patrick Swayze, political columnist William
Safire and NCAA president Myles Brand are among those who recently have
succumbed to pancreatic cancer.

Offering snuggly comfort and support, the limited edition My Tempur-Pedic Teddy
Bear is filled with the same proprietary, pressure-relieving material that is
featured in the company`s sleep collections. Co-branded with the Pancreatic
Cancer Action Network, the bear comes with a cause bracelet to encourage owners
of the bear to drive awareness of this devastating disease and what needs to be
done to change the fate of those who face it.

by giving patients and caregivers reliable, personalized information they need
to make informed decisions. We create a sense of hope and community so no one
