FULLERTON, Calif., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Renee Cobos, MD, a board certified
dermatologist and associate professor of dermatology at the University of
California, Irvine, announced today that her patients are experiencing
tremendous results with Thermage CPT®. The updated system, which is approved
for skin tightening and contouring, features a new vibrating hand piece that
increases procedure efficacy and improves patient comfort.

"Thermage has always been popular with my patients because it's non-invasive
and has very little post-procedure down time," said Dr. Cobos, founder and
medical director of Premiere Dermatology and Laser Center in Fullerton,
Calif., and the only physician in Orange County currently offering the
Thermage CPT treatment. "Now that it delivers more energy with greater
comfort, patients are seeing better results and are even more satisfied with
the overall experience."

Thermage CPT offers the same state-of-the-art radiofrequency technology as the
original procedure, but the redesigned facial treatment tips uniformly heat a
greater amount of tissue to the target temperature. This means more tightening
can be achieved in a quicker time. Thermage has been shown to tighten,
contour, and rejuvenate the skin in a single treatment. Immediate results are
visible and continue to improve for up to six months.

"In addition to impressive results for the treatment of wrinkles and fine
lines, I've seen consistent, tremendous results in patients with acne," said
Dr. Cobos. "My acne patients are experiencing significant clearing in one
month after the procedure. Although Thermage CPT isn't FDA approved for the
treatment of acne, this is an exciting new application for the technology."
